Session Overview:
Creating a budget for your business is important, but even more important is doing it correctly. Today’s business landscape is ever changing and can have a large impact on your business, which makes budgeting for the upcoming year even more critical. Walk away with best practices for budgeting and cash flow forecasting in order to make accurate and informed business decisions moving forward.

Speakers:
Heather HuotariHeather Huotari of Eide Bailly helps clients become more confident and comfortable with their financial information by providing it in a way that's easiest for them to consume. She leverages technology to provide these insights in real-time, empowering business leaders and owners to make the strategic business decisions that they face on a daily basis. When you work with Heather, you can be sure she will take the time to listen and learn about your unique organization. While industry metrics and standard processes are a guideline, there is no one-size-fits-all methodology when it comes to your business.

After hours, Heather enjoys spending time with family and friends - especially if it's at the lake, or with a cold drink in hand. When that's not an option, she's most likely feeding her Amazon Prime addiction or dreaming of spreadsheets.

Tony Bannascj-RuzikaTony Bannascj-Ruzika of Eide Bailly has worked in public accounting since 2013, and throughout his time has developed a strong background in accounting services, tax compliance and business consulting. He has experience in helping businesses succeed in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, retail, nonprofit and real estate.
When working with Tony, you can expect him to quickly take an interest in understanding what makes your business or organization run and take the time to work toward your goals through creating efficiencies or offering solutions that correspond with your goals.

When away from work, Tony enjoys spending time with his family and friends, visiting new places, gardening, and taking part in Des Moines' various fairs, festivals and concerts. He also actively volunteers with nonprofit organizations within the community that assist local youth in finding higher education opportunities.
