Topic: Benefits Reimagined: Modern Strategies for Every Employer Size
In today's dynamic workforce landscape, one-size-fits-all benefit plans no longer meet the diverse needs of employees or employers. This session explores innovative employee benefits strategies that scale across company sizes, from lean startups to large enterprises. We'll examine trends, cost-effective technologies, and inclusive approaches that enhance employee well-being, attract top talent, and boost retention. Whether your building a benefits package from scratch or modernizing an existing plan, this presentation will provide actionable insights tailored to your organization's size, goals, and culture.

Presented By: Marcie Strouse, Partner/Benefits Advisor
Marcie brings 20+ years of experience as an independent agent in the benefits industry and is a Partner at Capitol Benefits Group. Areas of expertise for her are working with employer groups to consult, educate and service their employee benefits as well as supporting the Medicare population.
Currently, she is serving as the Government Relations Co-Chair for the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals Iowa Chapter (NABIP Iowa) – a professional association dedicated to protecting insurance consumers, where she has also served in various leadership capacities. During her years of service at NABIP, the area Marcie is most passionate about is government relations; it has become her true calling. She also sits on the NABIP National Legislative Council and the Prescription Drug Working Group. In 2018, Governor Reynolds appointed Marcie to the Medical Assistance Advisory Council (MAAC) for the State of Iowa where she was re-appointed and continues to serve. Marcie is on the Leadership Council with NFIB and is looking forward to supporting businesses across Iowa.
